• Worsted or light aran yarn with a soft, wool-rich feel (wool or a wool-alpaca blend works well)
• 5 mm (US 8) needles for body, sleeves and hem (80 to 100 cm circular or straights)
• 4 mm (US 6) needles for cuffs and collar, including a 40 cm / 16 in circular
• Tapestry needle
• Locking stitch markers
• Stitch holders or smooth waste yarn
• Blocking pins and a measuring tape
