If you’ve worked a few cables before, you’re ready for this one. The cables only come every tenth round, so most of your time is calm, plain knitting.

Skill Level: Intermediate
Finished Size: 6 months to 3 years (24 to 28 in / 61 to 71 cm chest)

• No seaming at the end. It’s worked top down in the round, and the sleeves are picked up right from the body, so there are no pieces to sew together.
• A neat, soft neckline. The double folded collar sits nicely around the neck, with an optional elastic if you want it a little snugger.
• Polished on every side. Mirrored cables run down each raglan line and along the sides, so it looks just as good from the back as it does in photos.

• US 6 (4 mm) circular needles, 16 in and 24 in
• US 2.5 (3 mm) circular needles, 16 in and 24 in
• Cable needle
• 9 stitch markers (one different)
• 2 stitch holders or scrap yarn
• Tapestry needle
• Optional clear sewing elastic for the collar
